The Educating 4 Democracy website is a collection of videos and resources for educators, leaders, and school districts interested in preparing youth for democracy. The site was developed by the Civic Engagement Research Group (CERG). The videos on the website have been developed by CERG through partnerships with school districts and, at times, with other organizations such as the Teaching Channel.

Toolkits
Motivating Informed & Safe Voters
The LEADE initiative - a partnership between CERG at University of California, Riverside and Center X at University of California, Los Angeles - has put together a 2-day set of lesson plans that educators can use to teach about voting in the 2020 Election. The lessons promote informed and safe voting in a nonpartisan manner, and they can be taught consecutively or independently. Click here to view and download the lessons for your school or classroom.
The Digital Civics Toolkit
The Digital Civics Toolkit is a collection of resources for educators to support youth to explore, recognize, and take seriously the civic potentials of digital life. The Toolkit draws on the research and work of the MacArthur Research Network on Youth and Participatory Politics (YPP). The Toolkit explores a range of civic opportunities and dilemmas via 5 modules focused on: Exploring Community Issues, Investigation, Dialogue, Voice, and Action.
